Well done again to Jessica Downes and Kyle Blaszak for a fantastic job at reading out the news in Irish on the intercom. We were all very proud of them 😊

' Under the sea Aistear '

This month we have been exploring life under the sea. We read ' Rainbow Fish' and made our own rainbow fish along with other creatures from the sea. We played with the rainbow fish puppets in the Socio Dramatic corner along with pirate costumes, swords, a ship tent, fish masks and some other fun objects. In construction we played with pirate ships and tried to build our own using blocks. In the writing corner we wrote about the sea creatures we made. Finally the return of the water station brought lots of fun as the children used containers to make boats. 

World Book Day

As always a super day was had today for world book day. The costumes were just fantastic. Well done boys and girls and as well great job

mams and dads 👏👏👏 We had a group of finalists but our overall winner was Martin, or should I say ' Stick Man ' 😀🏆👍
